Good value item. So far running Debian 10 for a week 24/7 without any issues. Came with pfSense preinstalled. Ordered i5-8265U, received equivalent, but slightly more recent i5-8365U. The internal 128GB mPCIe SSD is slow, 'dd if=/dev/zero of=out.img bs=100M status=progress oflag=direct' is doing only ~72,3MB/s. More than happy with the CPU though. Many BIOS options, however, wasn't able to iPXE boot so far even with enabling this in the BIOS. It could be just me -- did not investigate too much yet. Gigabit networking seems reliable. Power consumption ~8W idle with Debian, ~11W with pfSense. Gets only slightly warm (33C case) when idle. There is a jumper inside that you need to move to put to PWRON1 if you want auto-power-on after power failure. I had to figure this out myself, the seller was not helpful in this respect. There simply is not any (seller-provided) manual out there. Hope the jumper setting helps someone. This is a 4-5 star item due to lack of docs and slow SSD.

exactly as described - super fast delivery, no import duties to pay in the UK ( thank you for limiting the customs declaration to the case and not it's contents! ) The internal 128GB SSD runs at ~550MB/s so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, it's spot on as a router appliance and the free SATA port allows you to have it double up as a NAS albeit one without RAID. I'm yet to test installing an LTE modem in the free pcie slot but given how well everything else has gone I don't expect any problems.

I finally got my package, after having issues with the local cutom authorities. The mini pc was realy well packaged and itact. When I opened it felt realy heavy and firm. Good aluminium encloser/heet sync. It also started right a way and it even had pfSense preinstalled with the latest release.

Couldn’t be happier. The appliance arrived from the China factory in less than 4 calendar days and performances are super rock solid. It came with PFsense pre installed which I replaced with Sophos XG with some hiccups (due to Sophos only). Buy with confidence from these guys, they’re super serious.

J'ai commandé ce produit pour PfSense. Je l'ai reçu très rapidement et il fonctionne vraiment très bien. Faites juste attention en branchant le Wan/Lan car les ports correspondants n'étaient pas les 2 premiers mais les 2 derniers. Rien de bien grave en soit mais je pensais avoir fait une erreur de configuration système au début alors qu'il fallait juste changer de ports physiquement parlant ;-) Je ne peux que recommander.

Shipped very fast. Stays nice and cool, runs opnsense great. Cpu benchmarks well, though note that the cpu is not a retail intel cpu, it’s an engineering sample. It is still a fast cpu for the price. Sold as a 8265u, came with a 8365u, internal name shows i5-8665u (this sku does not exist). Still a nice firewall machine and would recommend even if the cpu isn’t as advertised. Ram and hard drive are unlabeled and would replace both with something else as I don’t think either will last very long. Overall, for the price, it’s a nice machine to run your firewall software of choice on. A+

Do not use this company, it is a scam. Was trying to get more money out of me for shipping, using a Scam of DHL website (Said Sydney was a remote delivery location!), claimed it was shipped but gave a fake tracking number DHL did not recognise, but on Ali Express tracking it was going to Europe, then Chile, then Mexico (should be Australia). Only good thing was I raised a dispute and Ali Express agreed a refund. Went and bought from Lotum (through Ali) which arrrived before this was all resolved.of course no parcel confirming fake shipping!
